The Bengal Association was registered as a society on 1st March’ 1929 in Chennai, formerly known as Madras. It is the first Association of Bengalees in Chennai. The founder members started the Association with the objective of pursuing cultural, social and charitable activities. It was an endeavor of just seven determined individuals to start with. Over the years, it has grown quite big and this has become the center of attarction of all Bengalees in Chennai.
The Bengal Association has its own premises in the heart of the city in T. Nagar. It has various facilities, like – Guest House, Library, Auditorium. Mutipurpose Hall, School, Sports infrastructure.
